My name is Alejandra, I am 38 years old and I am the leader of Artesanías Candelaria. The bracelets are changing lives. They have become opportunities for our children to study. Maybe some children wouldn’t have the opportunity to go to school if their moms did not work. Because most of us are mothers, we work to improve our children’s lives. In Artesanías Candelaria we want to create a positive change our community. We want to show that people in the rural areas are capable of great things. We are going to try to make the best of what we are given.
