A gift in itself, saa paper boxes can also be used to store jewellery, trinkets, even phones and keys. They feel almost like fabric, but are definitely strong and durable. Buddhist scripts written on saa paper have been dated back to over 200 years old.

Our fair trade Saa paper gift boxes are made from the bark of the Paper Mulberry. The bark sheds naturally each year, but to achieve the highest quality the producers use bark from trees that are at least 2 years old. The process of making saa paper is completely by hand from start to finish, and is a local tradition in northern Thailand.
