“Nazca” Chancay Vase
$99.00
The 19cm Nazca vase is a statement piece that is the star of the show.
In traditional Chancay pottery style, black on white, this vase has a satin finish in jet black, decorated with a distinctive pattern of strong, bold lines in soft shades of off-white.
As extraordinary as the Nazca Lines, for which this vase is named, the high impact design of triangles, circles and waves ensures this work of art won’t go unnoticed.
Chulucanas is a village in the North of Peru where potters still use the pre-Columbian art of creating patterns with the negative-positive technique, and firing pots with mango leaves.
Fair Trade and Handmade by an artisan in Peru.
