“Peruvian Paso” Chulucanas Horse Statue
$59.00
A horse is a horse of course of course…unless you are a Peruvian Paso. Then you are a national treasure!
With its very special, naturally occurring dance like step, the Peruvian Paso is a protected animal in Peru.
This handmade abstraction in matte black, with a distinctly lost civilisation vibe, is a creative mix of ancient and modern, and sure to become one of your favourite pieces.
Chulucanas is a village in the North of Peru where potters still use the pre-Columbian art of creating patterns with the negative-positive technique, and firing pots with mango leaves.
Fair Trade and Handmade by an artisan in Peru
