Who do they help? Prokritee’s mission is to develop the social and economic capacity of poor, rural, disadvantaged women in Bangladesh by creating productive employment opportunities and sustainable linkages to the world market. Currently we have 10 production units where we employ more than 2000 artisans all, of whom are women from underprivileged backgrounds.
How do they help? Rather than focusing on maximization of profit, we try to create jobs for these women who are often the only earning members of their families.
